The final selection of match officials who will preside over the 24 games at the Inaugural International Defence Rugby Challenge has been made.  30 Match officials from 7 countries will form the referee squad with members streamlined into panels of Referees, Assistant Referees and sideline officials when appointments are made.

All teams attending the tournament were invited to select match officials to join their squad at IDRC 2011, with further selections to be carried out following a comprehensive review of refereeing performances by the Match Official Selection Committee.

Appointments to the knock-out matches will be made following a performance review following the completion of the pool phase.

Members of the IDRC 2011 squad will also referee key warm up matches including the NZDF vs Randwick Barbarians and ASRU vs Victoria in the lead up to the tournament.
